Bucharest, 8 May 2007 - - A delegation of Guardia di Finanza (Italian Economic and Financial Police) led by Mr. Paolo POLETTI, the Chief of Staff, paid a visit to the SECI Center Headquarters on 7 May.
The Director of the SECI Center briefed the Italian Delegation on the SECI Center activities in combating transborder crime and presented to the Guests the future plans of the Center development.
During the meeting there had been emphasised the excellent cooperation between the SECI Center and Italian Guardia di Finanza, including discussion on future enhancement of the cooperation.
On this occasion, the Director of the SECI Center expressed his particular thanks to the Italian Guardia di Finanza for its significant contribution, through the secondment of a permanent expert at SECI Center, supporting the efforts on combating the various forms of economic and financial crime in the Southeast European Countries, within the SECI Center Financial and Computer Crime Task Force and the Anti - Fraud and Anti - Smuggling Task Force.
