Bucharest, 12 March 2007 - - Possible forms of assistance to SECI Center has been discussed in Bucharest on the occasion of the first visit to the Center’s Headquarters paid by a High Level Italian Parliamentary Delegation led by Mr. Sandro GOZI, Chairman of the Committee for EUROPOL and Immigration on 12 March 2007.
The Director of the SECI Center, Mr. Mitja Mocnik, briefed the guests on the SECI Center institutional building and its operational activities and expressed his personal thanks for the Italian Government’s assistance to the Center.
The head of the delegation, Mr. Sandro GOZI, highly valued the results of the SECI Center activities and stressed that Italian officials and law enforcement institutions are very much interested in SECI Center combating crime activities with a special highlight to the field of combating trafficking of human beings and illegal migration.
