First visit to SECI Center of the EUROPOL’s Director, Mr. Max Peter Ratzel
Bucharest, 20 December 2006 - - Enhancing cooperation between the EUROPL and SECI Center has been discussed in Bucharest at the highest level on the occasion of the first visit to the Center’s Headquarters in Bucharest paid by Mr. Max Peter Ratzel, Director of the EUROPOL, which took place on 20 December.The managements of the two law enforcement agencies hold several meetings during the last year and there have been already identified and established the general frames of cooperation in areas of common interests for the both parties.
During the meeting at the SECI Center Headquarters it was commonly agreed that the level of cooperation between the SECI Center and the EUROPOL will be further developed and diversified in the fore coming future with an accent on the areas that the two low enforcement agencies could complement each other their common efforts in combating transborder organized crime.
During the meeting with the SECI Management and Staff, Mr. Ratzel stressed on the institutionalizing of the relations between the EUROPOL and SECI Center in the coming future.
