President of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia visited the SECI Center

President of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Branko Crvenkovski, was hosted by the SECI Center in Bucharest on Tuesday, February 27.

In further discussions that he had with the Romanian President Traian Basescu, President Branko Crvenkovski was briefed by the Director of the SECI Center, Mitja Mocnik, on regional security issues in fighting cross-border crime in the region.

The SECI Center management expressed satisfaction regarding the cooperation with the Macedonian law enforcement agencies in the common efforts to combat transborder crime such as trafficking in human beings, drug trafficking, trafficking in stolen vehicles, financial crime etc.

The Macedonian President, Branko Crvenkovski, was paying a visit in Romania over February 27-28 at an invitation from Romania`s President, Traian Basescu.
