Fighting Drug Trafficking

BUCHAREST, July 14th  – The SECI Center was represented last week at the 26th Annual International Drug Enforcement Conference, held in Istanbul, Turkey.

The SECI Center deputy director, Gabriel Sotirescu, presented “Sophisticated Concealment Methods of Drugs”, discovered by the law enforcement authorities in the SECI region.

Closer Cooperation with Europol

BUCHAREST, June 26th  – The SECI Center management, director Mitja Močnik and deputy director Gabriel Sotirescu, welcomed  today the director of Europol, Max Peter Ratzel.

The discussions were focused on the development of the relationship between the two organizations, the future of the SECI Center, SELEC and its role in the region, as well as organized crime related issues.

Partnership on Migration Issues

BUCHAREST, June 20th  – The SECI Center director, Mitja Močnik discussed today with Trpe Stojanovski, the director of Migration, Asylum, Refugees Regional Initiative Regional Centre, MARRI RC, the details of a Memorandum of Understanding to be signed in the near future.
